Ben was a student of Bailey Downs High School in the year 1999.
He is often seen hanging out with Jason McCardy and Tim on the bleachers at the hockey field of Bailey Downs High School where they pass time by hollering at the highschool girls during hockey training. He also joins his friends when smoking marihuana.
History[]
Together with Tim, he is in Sam's truck after McCardy invited Ginger Fitzgerald to smoke a joint with them. He passes it to Ginger after Jason rudely prompts him to. When Sam confronts them for smoking in his van without his consent, Ben is already clearly stoned.
Ben is already stoned when Sam throws them out of his van.
When Ginger is doing her walk through the school's hallway, Ben, Tim and McCardy are visibly awestruck.
He and Tim express appreciation when Jason tells them he spent the night with Ginger. But then both laugh at Jason when Tim notices the red stains on Jason's pants, pointing out their similarity to a period. Minutes later, Ginger starts beating up Trina on the field. Ben and Tim jump up and egg them on.
On Halloween, when Ben and Tim encounter Ginger in the hallway at the school he notices blood on her forehead, which Ginger dismisses annoyedly. She then proceeds to ask about Jason's whereabouts and if they go to the Halloween Bash party that night, flashing them, which leaves both quite astonished. Later at the Halloween party in the County Greenhouse, he is seen wearing a cow costume and standing next to Tim. When a partly transformed Ginger enters the Party, he mistakes her newly developed werewolf features for a costume and compliments her. He then passes her a bottle of beer before she gives him a kiss and asks where Sam is.

Trivia[]
- In a deleted scene at the Halloween party, Ben calls Jason an idiot for breaking up with Ginger and also says that he considers her hot. Jason replies by calling him a "f*g". Later, when the police comes asking for Jason, he points them right towards him.
- In a previous script version, Ben (here named "Cow Guy") asks if it's "f*ggy" for a guy to wear a cow costume. Further elaborating that society should be advanced enough to accept that a man can wear a costume of an animal with udders.
