The Bailey Downs High School field is the school's primary outdoor sports field and lies behind the school building. It is surrounded by a grey ash track and features two combined soccer/football goals. This is where the field hockey units for the gym class take place.
An audience stand is located just outside the field's edge on the side close to school building. These bleachers are often frequented by other students when they don't have classes themselves. Among them Jason McCardy and friends, who often sit there during the girls' hockey class to check out fellow female students.
History[]
On October 2, 1999, it was discovered that the Beast of Bailey Downs murdered an unnamed dog. During a hockey training Trina Sinclair made Brigitte Fitzgerald fall straight into the dog's bloody cadaver[1] as revenge for her and her sister previously mocking her.
Later, when Ginger and Jason were hooking up, they were making out on the field while Brigitte was watching from the bleachers.
The field is located close to the school's parking lot. After Trina overlooked her crush Sam talking to Brigitte on the field's edge, she jealously knocked Brigitte over when they were engaged a 1v1 during a hockey match. Ginger immediately retaliated by beating Trina up[2].
Significance[]
The field represents the location where the Fitzgerald sisters first rile up Trina Sinclair, and is the site where Trina bullies Brigitte in public twice. It is also where Ginger retaliates for her sister and strikes back.
