Timeline of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning

This article presents a timeline of events in Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning.

According to the introductory text at the beginning of the film, the events of the movie take place two months after a trade party which left in spring was supposed to return to Fort Bailey during fall 1815. The film takes place over several days. The days in the timeline are based on observed changes between night and day.

The Timeline

Spring 1815	The trading party with Jean-Pierre leaves Fort Bailey for Hudson Bay to trade pelts for winter provisions
2 months ago (Fall 1815)	The trading party was supposed to return to the fort with supplies to survive the winter
A few weeks ago	Fort Bailey was attacked by hellhounds Wallace Rowlands' wife Elsbeth was killed in the attack, his son Geoffrey was bitten and started turning into a werewolf. Wallace claimed he died and hid him away in a secret room.
The film starts
Day 1	Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald wander the Canadian wilderness following their parents' death They encounter the Elder in the abandoned Native American settlement and later arrive at Fort Bailey The dinner at the main house takes place (after dark) Ginger finds Geoffrey and is bitten Ginger and Brigitte attempt to leave the fort and open the gate The fort is attacked and Owen and one of the attacking werewolves are killed, Finn is bitten
Day 2	In the morning, Finn tries to kill the leeches and is killed by Doc Murphy It is discovered that Jean-Pierre turned into a werewolf After dark, Geoffrey kills Seamus Ginger is brought to Doc Murphy for testing, Wallace kills the doctor
Day 3	At daylight, James expels Milo from the fort Ginger looks for Geoffrey in order to kill him Geoffrey mourns his mother at the cemetery, he is found by the men and later killed by Wallace Ginger and Brigitte leave the fort and encounter Milo ouside, Milo is killed by Ginger The sisters arrive at the cave During the night, Brigitte has her vision
Day 4	At daylight, Brigitte awakes from her vision and finds the Elder dead, killed by Ginger The Hunter and Brigitte return to the fort Brigitte is captured by the Reverend After dark, Ginger arrives with the hellhounds and everyone at the fort except Brigitte gets killed.
Day 5	At daybreak, the fort is burning and the sisters sit outside in the snow Brigitte infects herself with Ginger's blood
